This growth trend is consistent with the transaction volume for the entire year of last year, reaching IDR 650.6 trillion (approximately USD 39.56 billion) in 2024, with IDR 94 trillion (approximately USD 5.72 billion) in December.
Hasan Fawzi of the Indonesian Financial Services Authority (OJK) announced this data at the monthly committee meeting in February 2025.
As of February 2025, there are a total of 1396 cryptocurrency assets available for trading in the Indonesian market.
