BBX Fee Guide: What Fees Apply When Trading Global Stocks with USDT

For clarity on the BBX DEX fee structure, this article explains the main fees that may apply when trading global stocks and related products with USDT or USDC, including trading fees, funding fees, internal transfer fees, and withdrawal fees.

1. Trading Fees

BBX DEX charges trading fees for both spot trading and perpetual trading.
Trading fees follow a VIP-tiered fee schedule, with different Maker and Taker rates applying to different VIP levels.

1.1 Fee Types

Trading fees on BBX DEX include:

  • Perps Taker Fee
  • Perps Maker Fee
  • Spot Taker Fee
  • Spot Maker Fee

Where:

  • Maker: an order that is placed on the order book and waits to be matched
  • Taker: an order that immediately matches against existing orders on the order book

In most cases, Maker fees are lower than Taker fees.

1.2 VIP Levels and Trading Fee Schedule

VIP levels are determined based on a user’s combined spot and perpetual trading volume over the past 14 days (in USD).
The applicable fee schedule is as follows:

1.3 VIP Rules

1.3.1 How VIP Levels Are Determined

A user’s VIP level is determined based on their rolling 14-day trading volume.
Spot and perpetual trading volumes are combined and calculated in USD.

1.3.2 When VIP Levels Are Updated

VIP levels are evaluated daily at 00:00 UTC.
Once a user reaches the threshold for a given VIP level, the corresponding VIP status and fee rates will take effect. If multiple tiers are satisfied at the same time, the system will automatically assign the highest applicable tier.

1.3.3 VIP Validity Period

After upgrading to a new VIP level, the corresponding benefits remain valid for 14 days.
If the user’s trading volume continues to meet the current VIP requirements during the following 14 days, the benefits will be automatically extended for another 14 days.
If the user no longer meets the current VIP threshold after 14 days, the account will be downgraded to the appropriate tier and the corresponding fee rates will apply.

2. Funding Fees

In perpetual trading on BBX DEX, users may incur funding fees in addition to trading fees.

Funding fees are different from trading fees:

  • Trading fees are charged when an order is executed
  • Funding fees occur between long and short positions while a perpetual position remains open, based on the Funding Rate mechanism

When a user initiates an on-chain withdrawal from BBX DEX, meaning assets are withdrawn from the platform funding account to a personal on-chain wallet address, the platform charges a fixed withdrawal fee.

4.1 Funding Account → Personal On-Chain Wallet

When a user withdraws funds from a Funding Account to a personal on-chain wallet, the platform charges:

0.02 USDT per withdrawal

Notes:

  • This fee is charged on a per-withdrawal basis
