The US court approves Aave's transfer of $710 million ETH

--

According to Judge Margaret Garnett of the Manhattan Federal Court in the United States, Aave can proceed with the asset recovery plan after the rsETH attack by transferring approximately $710 million of ETH previously frozen on Arbitrarum to wallets controlled by Aave. According to court documents, this decision modified the restraining order against the Arbitrarum DAO, allowing the community to complete the transfer through on chain governance voting and exempting it from relevant legal liabilities. This incident is related to the April rsETH attack, which has been accused of being associated with Lazarus Group. The plaintiff also sued Railgun DAO and Digital Currency Group (DCG).
