25-year-old fund manager heavily shorted semiconductors and heavily invested in AI stocks in Q1
According to the Q1 13F filing of Situational Awareness LP in 2026, the fund manager of the "25-year-old AI stock god" adopted an aggressive strategy in the first quarter, short selling semiconductors and betting on AI infrastructure. The total value of its put options reached $8.46 billion, accounting for 62% of the total portfolio value. Among them, VanEck Semiconductor ETF put options cost $2.04 billion, Nvidia $1.57 billion, Oracle $1.07 billion, Broadcom $1 billion, AMD $969 million, TSMC $535 million, and ASML $494 million. Compared to the $8.91 million put option in Q4 2025, the position has significantly increased. In terms of long positions, Bloom Energy holds $879 million, SanDisk $724 million, and CoreWeave $556 million. CoreWeave call options were reduced from $774 million to $141 million, while Intel call options were withdrawn and a new $159 million put option was added.
