Pavel Durov: TON native token will be renamed to Gram

Telegram CEO Pavel Durov announced that The Open Network (TON)'s native token will be renamed Gram, restoring the naming from the project's early whitepaper. TON remains the name of the blockchain network, while Gram becomes its native currency name. The fourth step of the "Make TON Great Again" plan, which has been renamed, is expected to take three weeks to transition, and the remaining plans have not been disclosed. The announced steps include network upgrade, increased transaction speed, reduced transaction fees, and Telegram replacing TON Foundation as the main manager and largest validator.
