[Meta: Exploring AI Cloud Business is Reasonable, Considering Leasing Computing Power] According to a report by Jinse Finance, on July 10, Meta Platforms CEO Mark Zuckerberg stated that the company needs to acquire as much computing power as possible. However, in a market where resources required to operate and develop AI products are scarce, he is also considering whether leasing part of Meta's AI infrastructure to external enterprises could bring greater value. Zuckerberg noted that leasing computing power resources or considering such transactions is reasonable. Earlier this month, it was reported that Meta is formulating a cloud business plan—this will help the company directly generate revenue through its data centers and other computing power collaboration projects. Zuckerberg stated that as long as we want to, there is certainly potential to establish a cloud business. This does not mean that Meta has overbuilt or possesses excess computing power. 'I don’t know anyone in the industry who feels they have excess computing power,' he said. He added that Meta is currently fully utilizing all of its computing resources.
