[Iranian and Omani Foreign Ministers Meet in Muscat to Discuss the Strait of Hormuz Issue] Reported by Jinse Finance, July 12 – The Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated that Iranian Foreign Minister Araghchi led a political and legal delegation to visit Muscat and held talks with Omani Foreign Minister Sayyid Badr Al-Busaidi. During this meeting, the Iranian and Omani foreign ministers discussed bilateral relations between Iran and Oman in various fields as well as the regional situation, particularly issues concerning the Strait of Hormuz. Araghchi and Al-Busaidi also exchanged views on appropriate mechanisms to ensure the safe passage of ships through the Strait of Hormuz in accordance with Article 5 of the Islamabad Memorandum.
