Moonshot AI opens source Kimi K3, plans to raise funds and go public in Hong Kong

Moonshot AI will publicly disclose the weights of the 2.8 trillion parameter model Kimi K3, which supports a context window of 1 million tokens. Moonshot AI plans to raise funds at a valuation of $50 billion and consider going public in Hong Kong. Bloomberg Intelligence reported that after the release of GLM-5.2 by Kimi K3 and Z.AI, the proportion of China's open-source weight model in overall token usage increased to 68%.
