According to CCTV, US President Trump has signed an executive order setting a minimum import price and imposing a 15% ad valorem tariff on imported polysilicon and derivative products. The minimum import price is set at $21 per kilogram for polycrystalline silicon, $100 per kilogram for polycrystalline silicon ingots and wafers, $0.22 per watt for solar cells, and $0.38 per watt for solar modules. The relevant measures will take effect from 13:01 on December 4, 2026 (UTC+8), and the US Department of Commerce will establish an incentive program for returning to the United States.
