Bifrost liquidity pool hacked, resulting in a loss of approximately $720000 in assets
On August 8th at 19:47 (UTC+8), the Bifrost liquidity pool was exploited by hackers to steal approximately 881150 DOTs worth around $720000 from the vDOT single coin pool, vASTR/ASTR, and vMANTA/MANTA pools. The stolen assets were deposited into HitBTC and flowed into Binance. Bifrost has submitted a freeze request to the exchange and cooperated with law enforcement to recover the assets. Bifrost has stopped offering liquidity mining rewards and conducted security checks, while vDOT maintains 1:1 full support.
