Morgan Stanley: Robot clusters will form a distributed inference cloud, providing computing power for SpaceX

--

Morgan Stanley research report points out that by 2040, robot clusters will form a distributed inference cloud, providing SpaceX with a hybrid computing architecture. Da Mo estimates that the total number of robots will reach 2.2 billion by then, with a total computing power of about 1.1 terawatts. Grok 4.6 has achieved a score of 61 on the Artificial Analysis Intelligence Index, and Grok 5 is expected to be released by the end of the year. Da Mo predicts that the weighted average computing power price for the fourth quarter of 2026 will be approximately $31 per watt, and if this price continues through 2027, it will bring in approximately $42 billion in incremental revenue. Da Mo offers SpaceX a target price of $300.
