Circle announced that the circulation of the Euro stablecoin EURC has exceeded 400 million euros. The token has been launched on trading platforms such as Bitpanda, Bitstamp, Bybit, Coinbase, Kraken, and is supported by institutions such as Mercuryo, MoonPay, Ramp, Transak, Cobo, Copper, Fireblocks, and Visa and Mastercard also support its settlement capabilities. EURC is issued by Circle, the French electronic currency institution, in compliance with the EU MiCA Act for electronic currency tokens, and is regulated by the French Prudential Regulation and Resolution Authority (ACPR). As of January 2026, the total global supply of stablecoins is approximately 30 million US dollars, and the size of the euro stablecoin market reached 650 million euros in June 2026. EURC maintains a leading position, and compared to the 16 trillion euro M2 money supply in the eurozone, euro stablecoins are still in the early stages.
