Optimism core team votes, $49.7 million OP transferred to Strategic Ecological Fund

The core development team funded by Optimism cast 8.486 million OP votes in favor of a proposal to transfer $49.7 million worth of OP tokens from user airdrops to the Strategic Ecological Fund. The proposal redefines the use of 546.9 million OP units, accounting for 12.7% of the total OP supply. The final voting result was 17.974 million OPs in favor and 10.931 million OPs against. Test in Prod representatives cast 8.486 million OP votes in favor before the voting ended, increasing the proposal's approval rate from 45.77% to 61.84%.
