Taurus connects to Swift blockchain ledger and supports bank tokenized deposit payments

Taurus SA announced that its tokenization and custody platform has completed integration with the Swift blockchain ledger, allowing customers to conduct payment transactions using bank issued tokenized deposits. The first batch of customer integrations are expected to be launched within a few days, and the first batch of transactions based on DLT are expected to be completed within a few weeks. The Swift blockchain ledger serves as a cross-border payment coordination layer, supporting round the clock transfer of bank tokenized deposits and clearing through financial infrastructure such as RTGS during the settlement phase. Standard Chartered and HSBC have completed the first real-time cross-border transaction supported by this ledger.
