South Korea tightens the trading threshold for single stock leveraged ETFs, with retail investors selling a net of 1.77 trillion Korean won
According to Edaily, the South Korean financial regulatory authority raised the margin for single stock leveraged ETFs and required simulated trading. From July 31 to August 28, South Korean retail investors sold a total of 1.773 trillion Korean won in Samsung Electronics and SK Hynix related ETFs, including 1.2415 trillion Korean won in SK Hynix related products and 531.6 billion Korean won in Samsung Electronics related products. The daily average trading volume of the 16 related ETFs decreased from 11.6787 trillion Korean won to 1.0059 trillion Korean won.
