According to Bloomberg, Binance continues to operate in the European Union through various means after the MiCA license compliance deadline on July 1st. European Central Bank President Lagarde had urged Binance's application not to be approved, and Binance has withdrawn its license application in Greece. Binance has restored some user permissions through "reverse solicitation" clauses and routed some EU user transactions to Abu Dhabi entities. The European Securities and Markets Authority has sent a letter requesting confirmation of the progress of the orderly exit, and Binance has stated its commitment to achieving long-term compliant operations within the MiCA framework. Binance's global spot trading volume share exceeds 45%, while its Euro denominated trading share is approximately 3% to 4%.
