A group of 19 interrelated Polymarket accounts bet on the financial reports of listed companies audited by KPMG over the course of several months, resulting in profits from 41 out of 42 transactions and a cumulative profit of approximately $22000. BubbleMaps analysis found that these accounts had placed bets on 18 KPMG clients, including Wells Fargo, Home Depot, DoorDash, and General Mills, with funds circulating between 19 accounts, suspected to be controlled by the same entity. At present, it cannot be confirmed that the account group is related to a KPMG employee suspected of insider trading. KPMG has stated that it has zero tolerance for trading using non-public information. (Source: The Wall Street Journal)
