According to a survey by S&P Global Market Intelligence, digital wallets have become the mainstream payment method in the United States, but consumers still have security and trust concerns about cryptocurrencies, stablecoins, and AI agents. 68% of respondents have never been exposed to cryptocurrency, and 59% believe it has no practical use. The awareness of stablecoins is only 16%, and the main concerns are fraud risk, fund security, and uselessness. 47% of respondents do not allow AI agents to consume on their behalf. S&P Global points out that issuers need to address fraud and fund security issues to enhance trust.
