CryptoQuant analyst Darkfost stated that Bitcoin has not hit a new high in nearly a year, and it has been about 342 days since its last high. After the halving of this round, the pace slowed down, but the interval from the top of the previous round to the next new high shortened, with 1180 days in 2014-2017, 1094 days in 2017-2020, and 849 days in 2021-2024. Darkfost believes that there is a trend of shortening the interval between new highs, and the next halving will be in April 2028. There is no need to wait for the old template of reaching a new high immediately after the halving.
