The United States Attorney's Office in Missouri has indicted Trung Nguyen Van, a 37 year old Vietnamese man, on charges of involvement in a $16 million cryptocurrency slaughterhouse and money laundering. The victim invested encrypted assets on the fake platform Triangle in the summer of 2024, and the funds were transferred to the suspect's private wallet. Another US victim suffered a loss of $2 million, and this type of pig killing platform caused a loss of $1 million worldwide.
