The US CFTC has submitted two regulatory proposals to the White House to define the nature of event contract swaps

The stablecoin Open USD (OUSD) has officially been launched, and businesses and developers can access it through Mastercard, Stripe, and Visa platforms. Coinbase will follow up on October 1st. OUSD is natively deployed on the Base, Ethereum, Solana, and Tempo chains, issued by Bridge under Stripe, with reserve assets held by BlackRock, Lead Bank, and Bank of New York Mellon.
