Murphy: Bitcoin tests $81000 support level three times, swinging chips are gradually clearing out
As of October 15, 2026, Bitcoin fell back to the support level of approximately $81000 three times on October 9, 12, and 15. Analyst Murphy stated that the three dips correspond to a decreasing scale of realized losses, indicating that the market is in a phase of clearing out swing chips. At present, the proportion of short-term holder losses is about 31%, which is lower than the historical cumulative average of 42.7%. The chips have not been fully cleared, and there will still be fluctuations and selling pressure in the future. If the price remains near the support zone and the release of losses weakens, passive selling will decrease.
