NGRAVE third-party service hijacked, with approximately 70 wallets stolen for $2.56 million
The LIQUID application third-party notification service of NGRAVE, a digital hardware wallet manufacturer, was hijacked. The attacker sent false alerts to induce users to enter recovery phrases, resulting in about 70 wallets being stolen on four blockchains for approximately $2.56 million. Among them, Bitcoin lost about $1.77 million, XRP lost about $454000, Ethereum lost about $316000, and Stellar lost about $18000. NGRAVE's ZERO hardware wallet and private key have not been directly compromised, and the company has replaced the affected keys and added security mechanisms. (Source: Bitcoin.com News)
