According to CME's weekly cryptocurrency holdings report, BTC holdings were 21,040 contracts, an increase of 1.38% week-over-week; ETH holdings were 28,344 contracts, an increase of 10.96% week-over-week.
The decentralized perpetual contract protocol Lighter announced that it will include weETH as collateral for perpetual contract trading on its platform. The platform will allocate 70% of the value of the weETH index to trading margin and set the total supply of weETH collateral on the platform to a maximum of 1,000.
Franklin Templeton, which manages $1.8 trillion in assets, plans to launch two ETFs tracking the S&P 500 and Nasdaq 100 indices respectively. The ETFs will allocate 95% to stocks and 5% to Bitcoin, with stock dividends invested in Bitcoin. (Bitcoin Archive)
