Circle Gateway now supports cirBTC and EURC, expanding cross-chain asset support to three types.
Circle announced that its cross-chain balance service Gateway now supports cirBTC and EURC, allowing developers to move these three assets using a unified interface. Each asset maintains an independent balance; depositing EURC will not fund cirBTC withdrawals or automatically convert them. cirBTC is only available on the Arc and Ethereum networks; EURC supports Arc, Avalanche, Base, Ethereum, Solana, and World Chain. Cross-chain access after balance creation takes less than 500 milliseconds. Deposits are held in a non-custodial GatewayWallet escrow contract, and an API-independent withdrawal path is also provided, with a 7-day delay. The new assets are compatible with Nanopayments for bulk settlement; Nanopayments for non-USDC assets are only available on the EVM network. During the launch period, Circle will waive Gateway fees for cirBTC and EURC on Arc.
