Approximately 3,600 stolen SOL tokens flowed into HitBTC.

Security firm Salus detected that approximately 3,600 stolen SOL tokens were transferred via automated scripts through multiple paths and stripped from the blockchain, flowing into the HitBTC hot wallet at 16:51 on November 3rd. Salus points out that HitBTC is involved in multiple cryptocurrency thefts and money laundering cases, with approximately $22 million in illicit funds flowing into the platform as of July this year. In the approximately $1.4 billion theft from Bybit, at least $3.68 million linked to North Korean money laundering networks flowed into HitBTC, and Bybit's requests for assistance in the investigation have not been responded to.
