Alex Mashinsky applies for revocation of 12 year sentence

--

Celsius founder Alex Mashinsky has filed a motion in a New York court seeking the revocation of his 12 year sentence for fraud and market manipulation. He claimed that the lawyer stopped communicating and forced him to appear in court on his own, and advocated for the existence of "ineffective legal representation" in the defense. The document accuses Sam Bankman Fried of manipulating the CEL token market, attempting to destroy Celsius, and publicly disclosing a text message from former Chief Revenue Officer Roni Cohen Pavon, claiming that the other party is attempting to take over the company with hostility. Mashinsky has pleaded guilty to commodity and securities fraud and has been sentenced to forfeit $480 million and pay a settlement of $10 million. Cohen Pavon was sentenced to 'served sentence' and fined over $1 million.
