Salimi: Iran plans to legislate sovereignty over the Strait of Hormuz

According to Xinhua News Agency, Salimi, a member of the Iranian Parliament Presidium, stated that the law on Iran's planned sovereignty over the Strait of Hormuz is about to be passed in parliament and may become a permanent law. He said that only Iran and Oman have the right to decide on the management of the strait. Both sides have started communication, and Oman has preliminarily agreed. The relevant plan is expected to be finalized soon.
