Israeli airstrike on Lebanese military vehicle kills 3 people
The Lebanese military stated that on the 6th, Israel carried out an airstrike on a military vehicle in the Nabatiyah area of southern Lebanon, resulting in the death of a brigadier general, a captain, and a soldier. Lebanese President Joseph Aoun condemned the attack as a violation of sovereignty and international law. The Israel Defense Forces confirmed the operation, stating that there was "suspicious activity" in the target area that may be related to Hezbollah operations, and stated that they are investigating. On the same day, the Israeli army also carried out airstrikes on the village of SakSakSakiyeh in southern Lebanon, resulting in at least 6 civilian deaths and 4 injuries. The Lebanese military accuses Israel of disrupting the ceasefire and withdrawal process.
