US strategic oil reserves drop to lowest level since 1983

The US President Trump administration plans to release 172 million barrels of strategic oil reserves to alleviate the soaring fuel prices caused by the Iran war. According to data from the US Department of Energy, the strategic oil reserves have dropped to about 340 million barrels, and there will be about 243 million barrels remaining after the completion of the reserve plan.
