Li Yiyuan stated that the committee is evaluating the side effects of implementing temporary trading suspensions during market fluctuations. Li Yiyuan pointed out that the high volatility of the global semiconductor industry is the background of recent fluctuations in Korean and global semiconductor stocks. Li Yiyuan added that the significant increase in market value of Samsung Electronics and SK Hynix has increased their weight in the Korean Composite Index, amplifying the impact of the semiconductor sector on the overall market.
