CME launches single stock futures for 55 companies including SpaceX, offering 100 share and 10 share contracts

CME has officially launched US single stock futures, covering 55 companies including SpaceX, and offering 100 standard contracts and 10 micro contracts. The contract is settled in cash, and investors can establish long, short, or hedge positions without borrowing stocks. Ortex estimates that approximately 56% of SpaceX's freely tradable shares are on loan, with short positions still increasing.
