[RWA DeFi Active Deposits Reach $3.98 Billion, Tokenized Treasury Utilization Remains Low] According to Cryptopolitan, DefiLlama data shows that as of August 18, the active deposit volume of RWA in DeFi protocols reached $3.98 billion, approximately a sixfold increase from $651 million a year ago, and significantly up from $12 million three years ago. The current total issuance of tokenized RWA stands at $34.55 billion, with an on-chain utilization rate of about 11.5%. Among these, private credit accounts for $2.13 billion, bonds for $799 million, and reinsurance for $406 million. Tokenized treasury utilization remains low, with BlackRock's BUIDL issuance at $2.74 billion but only $18 million deployed on-chain, reflecting a utilization rate of 0.66%.
