The Korean Exchange (KRX) plans to launch a new securities market on November 16th, where assets such as art, real estate, and music copyrights can be traded through securities accounts like stocks. The South Korean stock exchange is advancing the construction of its trading system and will conduct a 6-week simulated trading from October 6th to November 13th. The official opening time will be adjusted according to the approval progress of financial regulatory agencies. Investors can buy and sell through securities company accounts, and the trading time will be consistent with the stock market. The new securities to be listed in November will be issued through traditional electronic securities, and tokenized securities based on blockchain will be implemented after relevant laws come into effect in February 2027.
