Peter Mintzberg: The crypto winter is over, we should pay attention to the long-term trend of digital assets
According to a report by Fortune, Peter Mintzberg, CEO of Grayscale, stated in an article that Bitcoin rose by about 20% last week and the crypto winter is receding. Peter Mintzberg believes that the market should not be limited to short-term price fluctuations, and the entry of digital assets into the mainstream financial system is a more important trend. The daily cash flow of Bitcoin ETP in 2025 often exceeds $500 million, which is about 12 times the daily increase in Bitcoin value by miners. The US spot Bitcoin ETP has resumed net inflows for three consecutive weeks as of late July. An EY survey shows that 73% of institutional investors plan to increase their digital asset allocation. By 2025, approximately 60% of executives from Fortune 500 companies stated that their companies are undertaking blockchain projects, with institutions such as Fidelity, Visa, and Stripe promoting stablecoin businesses. Peter Mintzberg believes that the demand for machine native small payments and instant cross-border settlements generated by AI agents is driving the application of public blockchain.
