According to a report by Jin Shi, on August 28th, Federal Reserve Chairman Kevin Walsh emphasized the need for the Fed to curb rising consumer prices and stated that policymakers must be confident that inflation is improving, otherwise the central bank still has work to do. As a result, the yield on two-year US Treasury bonds increased by 5 basis points to 4.28%, while the yield on 30-year bonds decreased by 1 basis point to 5.19%.
