OpenAI terminates cooperation with Cursor and stops model supply on November 12th

OpenAI announced the end of its nearly four-year collaboration with Cursor, and new OpenAI models will no longer be integrated with Cursor. Existing models will be directly discontinued on November 12, 2026. SpaceX has completed a $60 billion acquisition of Cursor, and OpenAI has terminated the partnership according to the contract. OpenAI believes that providing new models to Cursor, which has been acquired by SpaceX, carries risks.
