According to foreign media reports, Changxin Storage has filed a lawsuit with the US Department of Defense, demanding that it be removed from the blacklist. According to Bloomberg, Changxin Storage stated that the chips designed by Changxin Storage are for civilian and commercial use, not military use, and claimed that Changxin Storage was mistakenly blacklisted. The lawsuit has been submitted to the Federal District Court for the District of Columbia in the United States, with US Defense Secretary Pete Hegsas listed as a defendant. Changxin Storage stated that it is not a military enterprise. Since being blacklisted for the first time in January 2025, Changxin Storage's reputation and commercial interests have been damaged. This action is taken to protect commercial interests. According to Reuters, the US Department of Defense stated that according to policy, it does not comment on pending or ongoing lawsuits.
