Federal Reserve Chairman Kevin Walsh stated that combating inflation is a priority and has confidence in moving towards the target of core inflation. The probability of the Federal Reserve raising interest rates by 25 basis points has jumped from 30% to about 50%. The non farm payroll report and CPI inflation report will be released before the September Federal Reserve meeting.
