According to CryptoSlate, Polygon Labs has issued an emergency notice stating that after the hard fork activation in Austin and Kyoto, the old versions of Bor or Heimdall's Polygon PoS nodes have deviated from consensus and need to be upgraded to catch up with network progress. Austin activated on the mainnet block 91.9497 million, requiring Bor v2.10.0 or above; Kyoto requires Heimdall v0.11.0 or higher to activate at a height of 51.533 million. Austin fixed two types of Bor resource depletion risks: L1 to L2 bridge state synchronization events not included in the Gas cap, and TxDependency field without size limit causing peer node crashes.
