21 international financial institutions plan to establish new companies in the second half of 2026 and launch a US dollar stablecoin in the first half of 2027, with plans to expand to more G7 currencies in the future. Participating institutions include Bank of America, Citigroup, Morgan Stanley, Goldman Sachs, Deutsche Bank, UBS, and Wells Fargo BBVA、 Santander Bank, MUFG Bank, etc. This stablecoin is aimed at wholesale, institutional, and retail markets, used for cross-border payments and digital asset settlements, and is planned to comply with the US GENIUS Act and EU MiCA regulatory requirements.
