16 Wall Street institutions expect Fed to raise interest rates in September

Out of 20 institutions, 16 expect the Federal Reserve to raise interest rates in September, accounting for 80%. Most institutions expect a cumulative interest rate hike of 50 basis points by 2026, some institutions expect a 75 basis point hike, and a few institutions judge to maintain interest rates unchanged or shift towards interest rate cuts.
