Kalshi, Coinbase, and Bitnomial apply to launch perpetual futures for individual stocks

Kalshi, a predictive market platform, has applied to the US Securities and Exchange Commission and the US Commodity Futures Trading Commission to launch perpetual futures for individual stocks. The product has no predetermined expiration date and is anchored in price through funding fees. Coinbase submitted a perpetual futures application for individual stocks on the same day. Payward's Bitnominal Exchange has applied to launch perpetual futures covering 10 US stocks including Tesla, Nvidia, Apple, Microsoft, and Amazon, with plans to offer trading 24 hours a day, 5 days a week.
