Anthropic establishes life science team, Claude discovers new enzyme system ART

Anthropic established a life science research team and laboratory, and Claude analyzed over 200000 reverse transcriptase sequences to discover a novel enzyme system called ART. Claude used approximately 210 million tokens from around 950 agents within 21 hours to screen out 3500 candidate systems and narrow them down to 20. ART exists in bacteriophages infected with bacteria, consisting of reverse transcriptase, helper genes, and a set of DNA repeat sequences similar to CRISPR features. (Source: Sina Finance)
