The 30-year US Treasury yield has surpassed 5.61%, reaching a new high since 2002, while the 10-year yield is close to its highest point since 2007. The size of US treasury bond held by hedge funds reached $2 trillion, accounting for about 7% of negotiable treasury bond, a record high. If PCE inflation or non farm employment data is lower than expected, short covering may push yields down. The transportation volume of crude oil in the Middle East has recovered to about 98% before the conflict, and the flow of refined oil has recovered to 58%. The United States has proposed a 40 million barrel strategic oil reserve loan plan, after only 500000 barrels of the same scale plan were lent out previously.
