AMD CEO Su Zifeng visited manufacturers such as Foxconn, Guangda, Asus, Acer, and held a secret meeting with TSMC, confirming that due to strong demand for AI chips, AMD will increase its previously announced investment of $10 billion (approximately NT $317.6 billion) in Taiwan and accelerate capacity expansion with TSMC, packaging and testing, and substrate suppliers.
