Trump: Putin agrees to supply diesel to the US and global markets to lower prices

US President Trump posted on Truth Social that he reached an energy agreement with Russian President Putin in a phone call. Russia will immediately supply 300000 tons of diesel to the US and global markets, 500000 tons in November, and then 1 million tons, and deliver 3 million tons in a short period of time depending on the condition of the refinery. Trump stated that with the US control over the Strait of Hormuz and the agreement, diesel prices will rapidly decrease, and reiterated that Iran will not possess nuclear weapons.
