Coinbase has renamed its Base App to Coinbase Wallet, shifting its focus to multi chain trading

Coinbase has renamed its Base App to Coinbase Wallet, shifting its product focus from social features to multi chain trading. Ryan Kass, Product Manager of Coinbase Wallet, stated that the product returns to the positioning of trading all assets, and users can trade assets running on different blockchains through Wallet. The current product already supports Solana, Hyperliquid perpetual contracts, and multi chain tokenized stocks. New products will be prioritized in Wallet and will be pushed to Coinbase retail trading platform once they mature.
